Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2026

By booking with Trip Society, you agree to the terms below. Please read carefully.

1. Who we are

Trip Society creates curated group travel experiences. We are an experience organizer — not a travel agency. Travel bookings (hotel, transport, vendor) are handled by licensed third-party partners.

2. Booking & payment

  • A deposit (currently $199) is required to hold your spot and is non-refundable.
  • Full balance is due by the trip’s published payment deadline.
  • Installment options may be available via Affirm, Klarna, or Afterpay at checkout, subject to provider approval.
  • Non-payment by the deadline may result in cancellation without refund.

3. Refunds & cancellations

Refunds are governed by the trip-specific Refund Policy. Because Trip Society pre-commits funds to hotels and vendors, refunds are limited and subject to the published schedule.

4. Waiver & assumption of risk

All guests must agree to our Guest Waiver & Release of Liability before booking. Travel and recreational activities involve risk; participation is at your own risk.

5. Conduct

Trip Society may remove guests for unsafe, illegal, or disruptive behavior without refund. Guests are responsible for compliance with local laws and the rules of partner venues.

6. Identification & eligibility

All Trip Society experiences are 21+ unless explicitly stated otherwise. Guests must carry valid government identification and any travel documents (passport, visa) required for their itinerary.

7. Not all-inclusive

Trip Society experiences are not all-inclusive resort packages. Lodging and scheduled events are included; meals, beverages, airfare, personal expenses, and incidentals outside hosted events are the responsibility of the guest. Misunderstandings about “all-inclusive” are not grounds for refund or chargeback.

8. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes due to events outside our reasonable control (weather, government action, vendor failure, public-health emergencies, etc.). We will work in good faith to reschedule or offer credit where possible.

9. Intellectual property

The Trip Society name, logo, and content are the property of Trip Society. Photos taken on trips may be used for marketing unless you opt out in writing before the trip.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
